I'm excited to share some sweet moments from Ben and Abby's portrait session. This couple has meant so much to us since we moved to the Rockbridge County. After meeting at church and choosing the same small group, my husband and I have enjoyed spending time with these FUN folks!

January 15, 2023

I met up with Ben and Abby on the campus of Washington and Lee on a sunny January day. This place has played a special role in their lives since they graduated from Wake Forest University. After Abby finished school in Winston-Salem in 2019, she moved to Lexington to take a position as an RUF intern on the campus of W& L. Reformed University Fellowship is the Presbyterian Church of America's college ministry. As an intern, Abby would connect with students one-on-one, in small group settings, and through weekly Bible studies. RUF interns hope that students grow together in their faith during their college years.

The following year, 2020, held lots of exciting change for the Gilberts! Ben proposed to Abby, graduated from Wake, and joined his fiancee in Lexington. They were married summer of 2020. Since then, Ben and Abby have become major Lexington townies, always knowing where the best spots for food, drink, and music are hidden.
